Chaswill Process Technology’s approach to the mixing industry is to provide locally designed mixing equipment, manufactured to international standards in order to produce economical and robust mixers at affordable prices.
Professionally engineered, tried and tested, our plants are in every day use, dispersing coatings and inks, mixing contact adhesives, processing pastes and putties, blending juices/sauces/wine and manufacturing resins and emulsions.
The Chaswill product range is divided into the following categories:
-Varispeed Paint Dispersers
- • Chaswill manufactures the range of Purpose Machines top quality, durable dispersers, that have stood the test of
time. Professionally engineered, tried and tested, our plants are in every day use, serving the coating industry.
- • From 250 to 500 litre wall mounted units and 1000 to 5000 litre floor or mezzanine mounted mixing plants with
appropriate specifications
-Immersion Mixers
- • These rotor/stator type mixers are designed to blend, mix or grind a wide range of products from light liquids to
pastes
- • Used for inks, chemicals, cosmetics and food processing
- Paint filling machines
- • Designed to fill solvent or water based paint into containers from 1 to 200 litres, this pneumatically powered
system simplifies the canning process.
- • Foot operated or a load cell filling options available.
- Varispeed Pigment mills
- • Designed to grind coarse pigments suspended in solvent, resin or water, these pigment mills give a quick grind with
no premixing or wetting of pigment required. The pigment is processed from start to finish in one container only. Heat
generated by the process is dispersed by slowly circulating cold water through the jacket surrounding the container.
- • From 50 to 1000 litre mills for grinding pigments.
- Planetary Mixers – the Viscotorque
- • Pastes such as automotive body fillers, tile adhesives, window putty, crack filler, bituminous sealant and
toothpaste are some common products processed on these mixers.
- • 50 to 1000 litre paste mixing & filling plants.
- Discharge Systems – the Viscopress
- • After mixing in the Viscotorque, the pot is connected to the Viscopress, which is operated by foot control and is
designed tofill off at a rate of 14 – 42 litres/min
- • The Power Pack houses both pumps, for the working stroke and return stroke, in a fabricated steel tank / control
centre with 5m flexible hydraulic hose connection to the press.
- Multishaft Mixers
- • Designed with a variable speed Anchor agitator and a high speed Disperser. The anchor ensures constant motion and
feed product into the high speed disperser. Scrapers can be mounted on the anchor to clear the inside walls of product and to improve heating or cooling of the product.
- • An additional dispersion mixer can be added to increase shear. Multiple blades on each of the disperser shafts can
also provide added mixing.
- Vacuum mixers
- • Similar to the multishaft mixers, each machine is built for pressure and full vacuum operation, in polished
stainless steel surfaces.
- • It is used in the chemical and cosmetic industries for the mixing of viscous materials to achieve homogenizing,
emulsifying, dispersion and particle size reduction processes.
- Top Entry Mixers
- • Free standing like our Tilthead mixer or clamp mount or flange mounted
- • Steady bearing dependant on tank size. Seal options like a Lip seal, Stuffing box or Mechanical seal.
- Side Entry Mixers
- • Sealing flange agitator for standard speeds

- Portable Mixers
- • Either direct drive or geared motor to give a wide variety of output speed choice
- Control Panels
- • Our in-house automation engineers and electricians ensure control of critical mixing parameters such as mixing time, speed, temperature and vacuum/pressure. Control panels can be provided for hazardous and non-hazardous environments.
- • A variety of choices in control designs from simple relay-operated units to prefabricated PLC controls with
graphical user interfaces are available. Our goal is to build controls that are superior because they are an integral part of the process/machine manufacturing system.
- Tanks & Vessels
- • Chaswill builds mixing and blending tanks from 50 to 5000 litres.

- Impellers & Blades
- • Our stainless steel machined impellers are designed specifically for the chosen application.
